Ghandruk

Ghandruk is a beautiful mountain village inside the Annapurna Conservation area. This village is inhabited by Gurung, one of the major ethnic groups of Nepal. This village is located at an altitude of 2010 meters/ 6600 feet northwest of Pokhara. It is claimed that Ghandruk is the most visited village in Nepal. It is widely known among international and domestic visitors.

Ghandruk Village offers the panoramic Himalayan views including Dhaulagiri 8167m, Nilgiri 7041m, Fishtail/Machhapuchhare 6998m, Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna II 7939m, Annapurna III7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Annapurna south 7219m, Hiunchuli 6441m, Lamjung Himal 6986m, and more.

Ghandruk is the second-largest settlement of Gurung people, one of the indigenous groups in Nepal. In this village, about 270 Gurung families are staying in a charming cluster of slate-roofed houses surrounded by neatly terraced fields. They have also opened their own cultural museum.

Day 1                 

Kathmandu-Ghandruk

6:00 am: Assemble at Prescribed venue, Programme briefing and departure.

8:00 am Breakfast at Sigrekhola

10:30 am Lunch at Kurintar ( 1 hours)

6:30 pm Check In at the hotel, Ghandruk

8:00 pm Dinner/Campfire/Overnight.

Day 2

 

Ghandruk-Pokhara (Sightseeing)

6:00 am Morning Sunrise/Mountain View from the hotel.

7:00 am Short hike to Purano Gaun.

8:00 am  Breakfast at the hotel and Drive to Pokhara on the way explore Bindabashani.

12:30 pm Check in and Lunch at the hotel.

1:30 pm Sightseeing which covers (Pumdikot/Stupa/David Falls/Gupteshowor)

7:30 pm Dinner/Hangout around lakeside/Overnight.

Day 3     

 

Pokhara-Kathmandu

6:30 am Morning wake up and Boating at Taal Barahi Temple.  

8:00 am  Breakfast at the hotel

9:00 am Check out and departure for Kathmandu.

2:00 pm Lunch at Kurintar and proceed to Kathmandu.
